The New Albany Community Foundation welcomes grant
applications from non-profit organizations serving the New Albany-Plain
Local School District
community. Our grant review process is intended to encourage ideas
and proposals from a wide variety of fields. Grants are awarded annually
at the end of the calendar year. A grant application review committee
comprised of Foundation board members and staff, those with funds
at the Foundation and community representatives, convenes to review
the applications and render recommendations to the full Foundation
Board
of Trustees. The board awards the grants.
The scope of the Foundation’s charitable grantmaking includes both
capital and program grants. Typically, grants are awarded under the following
categories: Arts, Culture & Humanities; Civic/Community Development;
Conservation & Environment; Education; Health & Wellness, Human
Services; and Youth Human Services.
